Studio Policies
- Payment is done via credit card. This will happen on the 1st of the month.
- Payment is the same every month regardless of how many lessons attended. Parents are responsible for payment for any lesson missed. Exception: extended illness or if I cancel a lesson.
- Students are expected to practice their required amount on a consistent basis. Those that regularly fail to practice the required amount of time, and have been given sufficient warning, will be dropped from the studio.
- Library Fee: $10 due in September.
- Parents may reschedule lessons by looking at the schedule and phone list on the student page and making the necessary change. Once the schedule has been set, It is the parents' responsibility to make these changes.
- All students will participate in the Sonatina Festival, and one of three spring festivals. See the events page for more details.
- All students will participate and perform two pieces at the end-of-the-year recital. See the events page for date and location.
- Parents of younger students are encouraged to stay during the lesson time. It is helpful for parents of younger students to see what is going on so they can help during the week with practicing.
- Summer lessons are optional, but students will be required to take two lessons during the summer months.
- Missed lessons in May cannot be made up in June.
- There are no make-up lessons and no refunds unless the missed lesson is my fault.
